Buy orders (Premium)

Buy orders: say what you want and what you will pay, and the money is held until it fills.

Your own order, showing how much of it is still unfilled and how to cancel it.

/ah orders.

An auction house only lets sellers speak. A buy order is the other half: post what you want and what you will pay, and any player holding it sells to you in one click without listing anything or waiting to be noticed.

Placing one

Hold an example of what you want and press Place an order. Say how many and what you will pay for each. The money is taken then, not when it fills - an order that cannot pay is a trap for the seller who fills it, so there are none. Cancel it and whatever is still held comes back.

orders.default-limit is how many standing orders one player may have, raised per rank with emberauctions.orders.<n>.

Filling one

Hold the goods, open /ah orders, and click. It takes as many as the order still wants, pays immediately, and the items go to the buyer or their collection box.

Only plain items fill an order. A named or enchanted item is worth more than the material it is made of, and letting one vanish into a bulk order at bulk price is how someone loses something valuable by accident. Set orders.allow-custom-items if you want that anyway.
