The auction house — The hall. Every listing shows its seller, its price and how long it has left.

What makes it different¶

Both sides of the market. Every other auction plugin only lets sellers speak. Buy orders let someone post "I will pay 40 each for 64 diamonds", with the money held up front, and anyone holding them fills it in one click.

Auctions that are actually auctions. Bids are money held, not promised, so the winner can always pay. A bid in the last thirty seconds pushes the end back, so an auction is won by the highest bidder rather than the lowest ping.

It knows what things are worth. Every completed sale feeds a price index, and the going rate is the median rather than the average, so one silly listing cannot move it. Listings show "23% below market" and there is a Best Deal sort.

One market across a whole network. Point several servers at one database and they share the hall, and the collection box follows a player between them. Selling is settled by the database itself, so two servers can never both sell the same item.

Ember Coins, natively. Not flattened through Vault. Every currency you configured in Coins appears here with its own name, symbol and icon, and money moves through its own accounts - which is also the only way it works on Folia.

Installing¶

Drop EmberAuctions.jar (or EmberAuctions-Lite.jar) into plugins/.
Optionally Vault plus an economy, or Ember Coins. Without either, the market loads but has nothing to price things in.
Start the server.
